Hello Folks,

Can I create a mac addresses table without assigned ports ? I mean if I have a device assigned by MAC address on the switch, but I can connected to any ports. Like I have a list of MAC addresses these mac addresses are the only devices can connected to the switch, but it doesn't matter which ports are connected to the devices.

Note: no DHCP on the switch.

We generally go sticky mac or security on the ports for certain MAC address, never tried group of MAC address in the switch ( never had that requirement, but good question)

check below may help you :  (since we do not know the switch and verion , given in general suggestion)
