Maximum nodes in a REP segment?
Will there be a problem if I configure 50 to 100 REP nodes?

Hello @gunheon103
REP you mean Resilient Ethernet Protocol ?
While REP can offer rapid convergence and fault recovery, the number of nodes in a REP segment can impact the overall performance and convergence time. 50 to 100 REP nodes is within the realm of feasibility, but consider the convergence time. The more nodes in a REP segment, the longer the convergence time might be in the event of a link or node failure. It's essential to evaluate whether the convergence time meets your network's requirements.
Also, REP relies on flooding to communicate topology changes. With a larger number of nodes, there will be more flooding, potentially affecting network bandwidth. If there are frequent changes in the network, the increased control traffic due to a higher number of nodes might have an impact.
