Hi
This apply a policy map inbound on interface which means traffic entering the interface.
A quick example, let's say you have a router with interface A facing your LAN and B facing your WAN. If you apply this command on interface A and the policy-map do tagging, all packets from your LAN, going though this router, hitting interface A to get forwarded outside, will be tagged based on the policy.
Is that clear?
Thanks
Francesco
