I'm looking to set up a cisco Meraki MX85 security appliance to a stacked Cisco Catalyst 9300 (x2)
MX85 > Stacked 9300 Catalyst Switch > PC
MX85 WAN 1 > Internet
MX85 Port 11 > 9300 g1/0/48
MX85 Port 12 > 9300 g2/048
My questions are:
1. What config needs to be done on the 9300 to ensure physicals traffic is sent to the firewall, on the basic ip default gateway has been set? Do i need a trunk port setup? or a port channel to group he uplinks from 9300 to MX85
2. The MX85 offers DHCP as does the 9300, where and how should it be set to ensure clients get an IP address based on the port VLAN? VLANIF?
