I have been tasked with migrating to a new core switch as our current 4507R+E is EOL in October.
My plan is to configure the new 9407R as close to identical to the current switch(routes, ACLS, vlans, vlan interface IPs different IPs of course) move all of the workstations, then any non critical systems.. Then on a weekend move critical systems(clustered Database servers, HA Firewall, a single connection to 2 other branch locations). On the weekend, Move the non active DB cluster and Firewall HA node, change the vlan interface IPs on the old Switch to something different and change the new Vlan interface IPs to what they are currently, move the DB primary cluster and HA nodes. From a thousand foot view does that plan sound solid. Any thoughts on "gotchas" I may be missing or suggestions on alternatives is greatly appreciated.

Is this VSS or standalone?
What firmware is the 9400 running on?
Is there a DNAC appliance involved?
