Is it possible to Migrate a C9300L to DNA or CLI managed mode fresh out of the box by loading the image without contacting support to convert ?

No, if the switch is born in Meraki persona, you’ll have to boot it up, and contact Meraki support, to have them initiate the conversion process.

Curious if you have gone through the process with Meraki Support to make the conversion to CLI? My questions would be of how long it takes and what needs to be done after Support removes the device from Meraki mode.

I have yet to try it, so I don't have anything to share on how it takes.
However, I imagine that if you open a case with Meraki Support, and call in, I'd expect it to be fairly quick.

Hi @James2050 , @Cavemen Tech,
Process of converting C9300 from Meraki to DNA/CLI managed mode is pretty quick and should take no longer than 15 minutes on call, but it can only be done with the help of Support.
Once you created the case and called Meraki Support, the agent will verify your support passcode and initiate the migration, which will then take up to 300 seconds for selected switches to start migrating. Once initiated, the migration process cannot be stopped via Dashboard or SSH, and should not be interrupted.
Also be cautious of the fact that migration will factory default the switch and all configuration.

Beyond the technical conversion of the switch, how does one now get the proper DNA Network perpetual license for their Smart Account compliance?
AFAIK you can purchase a DNA Subscription a-la-carte, but it does NOT include the perpetual Network license
Does Meraki Support also provide the Network Essentials or Advantage as part of their conversion support?
The FAQ only mentions a new PO for the DNA License.
