Migrating to to a new 3750 stack, VLAN question

Hi,

I have asked about the migration process already but have one more question about VLAN Db.  If I am migrating from Stack1 to stack 2, VLAN domain, version and password are the same on both stacks, what happens when I finally retire Stack1, will the VLAN Db master just become Stack2, or should I (can I) trasnsfer the VLAN master to stack2 beforehand?

Cheers.....Dave

Dave,

If you are running VTP then you make stack 2 a VTP Server.  If you are manually configuring VLAN's in the stack seperatly - the vlan information is held on the flash in the vlan.dat file.  Stack 2 will have it's own vlan.dat file.
