Depending on the IOS.
If the supervisor card is on 15.5(1)SY3 (and earlier), yes. It is OIR.
If the supervisor card is on 15.5(1)SY4 (and newer), no. The C6800-8P40G will require a mandatory and manual FPGA upgrade.
