Hi,
I have a network with routers and switches, all from cisco and everytime that i need to monitor something from my desk (in another subnet), i have to either physically access that equipment or create vlans to access that equipment. We are re-organizing everything and i need to find a fine way to monitor any equipement from my desk and be able to see in real time what is happening in there.
Any suggestions would be very helpful.
I am looking for a way to not have to create a separate vlan again to administer and monitor.

I agree with other poster the products they mention are all good for solid network monitoring.
However, some only need a simple syslog server such as kiwi, 3cdaemon, etc.
