Hi everybody.
I hope everybody is doing great.
I just want to verify few examples below:
ip address 199.128.1.1
The multicast mac address for the above ip address is: 0100:5e00:0101
ip address 199.140.1.1
multicast mac: 0100:5e0c:0101
Are my examples correct ?

Yes, you are correct.

Hi Sarah,
Your conversion method is correct. But your IP address is not a Multicast IP address. Valid multicast address range is from 224.0.0.0 to 239.255.255.255
