Multicast over trunks

Hi

I have been asked to configure multicasting for a network containing one stack (two 3750e emi) and tree 2960G switches in the following configuration and :

3750(stack)--2960--2960--2960

3750 will be configured with PIM to route multicast traffic. All multicast sources are located on 3750's. Each 2960 switch is configured with the same 2 vlans (links between all switches are tranks). Multicast receivers are located on all 2960 switches. I have a few questions regarding this task.

1. Can the switches that are not directly connected to the 3750 stack receive multicast traffic?

2. If yes, what should be configured on 2960 and 3750 (e.g. mrouter port)?

1) Yes, there is nothing special about trunks in this case. The multicast traffic will pass throughout each vlan.

2) IGMP snooping on the 2960's which may well be on by default. You don't need a mrouter port configured.
