hi guys,
working on integration setup for creston device and cisco 3850 switch. Current topology, cisco 4500-x is the core switch and cisco 3850 is the edge switch. Creston device needs to be in segregated vlan that allows multicast between floors. so far, I only have below commands applied in the core switch based on creston recommendation and this is not working. In theory, creston device will be able to stream cable TV from main floor and display to different floors.
ip igmp snooping querier
ip igmp snooping vlan X immediate-leave
How do I verify multicast traffic is working as expected?
Thanks for the feedback.

Hi,
If everything is in the same vlan, you also need layer-2 multicast on the 3850.
ip igmp snooping vlan x
sh ip igmp snooping querier

Hi Reza - thanks for feedback. I will try adding that command to all edge switches and let you know next week.
What am I supposed to be looking at from sh ip igmp snooping querier output?

Hi,
You should see similar output to what you see in this link:
Not all commands are exactly the same across platforms but should be close.
