Hello gods of tech!
View pretty image attached.
Issue: Meraki switch is CST root, and adjacent to MST cloud. P2P connection between (Meraki) CST root and MST switch root is STP flapping because superior BDPU conflict.
Confirmed: Meraki switch technology cannot join MST cloud... (Advanced MS Setup Guide - Cisco Meraki)
Suggestion: Make CST root inside MST cloud. (client doesn't like this solution.)
QUESTION: Is there an alternative solution to above suggestion?
Thank you!

Hello,
Unfortunately I don't believe so. You may just have to revert to RSTP and then you will be able to manage the root bridge from that

Hello
I think what your are relating to is pvst simulation issues where you are interconnecting pvst and mst stp domains together, in this instance it seems you are not doing this, can you confirm the stp modes of the non meraki switches?
Please rate and mark as an accepted solution if you have found any of the information provided useful.
This then could assist others on these forums to find a valuable answer and broadens the community’s global network.
Kind Regards
