Mutliple Neighbors EIGRP and OSPF c2900 series

Hi Guys,

For Eigrp and OSPF protocol how many peer neighbors can c2900s handle?  ex. in my HQ i got c2900 router connected to 10 branches c1900 router. Is it OK if you have 10 peer neighbors in c2900? please advice..

Hello,

it is a matter of memory. If you are talking about the 2900 ISR routers, they have 512MB of DRAM, which is more than enough for 10 OSPF/EIGRP neighbors.
