N2K(FEX) CHANGE in N7K

I'm going to replace the FEX attached to N7K.

Will N7K FEX config disappear if FEX is removed?

I am going to do port-channel shutdown, replace the equipment, and Port-channel up again.

What I want to know is that when FEX port-channel is shutdown > FEX HW CHANGE > no shutdown, I wonder if the config remains.

Yes, the config remains because the config is on the 7k and not the fex. Once you add the new fex, the 7k will push the OS to the new fex, and then the fex will reboot and come back online.

Not that long. I would say about 5 to 7 minutes. It is usually pretty fast. Just make sure you do the replacement during a maintenance window.
