NAT DESTINATION FROM INSIDE TO INTERNET REDIRECTION TO A LOCAL PROXY SERVER

Hi,

I am working on a cisco router and I trying to figure out how I redirect outgoing internet browsing eq 80 and 443 to the same destination (proxy ) and the proxy port.

I know this can be done iptables and is known as Destination NAT.

The aim is to change the destination and port to the local proxy address on the proxy port (3128 for example)

THe current configuration is a basic NAT inside /outside ... which is working and I would like to forward the internet to the proxy instead.

Please help.

Thanks,

Ashley

Just use Policy Based Routing - if the source is the inside LAN and the TCP destination ports are 80 & 443, set the next-hop as the proxyserver.
