Hello,
Im sure this has been tackled before , but is it possible to have traffic from an already natted IP to be excluded from NAT ? for example I have a private ip 192.168.0.1 and have natted this to another private ip 172.16.0.* ( its going down a tunnel with the same addressing ) , is it possible to only have traffic destined for the vpn to be natted to the private IP and the rest of the traffic being from the 192.168.0.1 host being natted to a public ip for internet access?

Are you doing this on a router or an ASA?
