Hi Cisco Community
I have a Cisco 3560 Switch with SFP 10 GB port that I need to connect to a 10 GB RJ45 Laptop. Do you know what kind of adapter will work with this connection?

What is the part number for the switch?

You would need to insert this optic into your 3650 switch and make copper to copper connection, but not sure if your switch supports this optic. See the second link for the compatibility matrix.

It looks like your part on Amazon might work.
I don't know the part number from Cisco.

Hi Jen,
The WS-C3560CX-8PC-S switch does not support 10Gig interface. All copper and fiber ports are 1Gig. So, if you want to use the SFP port, you can use this part:
"GCL-TE" This is 10/100/1000 copper port that can be inserted into the SFP port.
