Hello
I have a Cisco Catalyst 2960-X Series switch that is not booting properly. It continuously restarts and does not complete the boot process. I need an experienced network technician or Cisco expert to diagnose and fix this issue.
Requirements:
Experience with Cisco Catalyst switches, particularly the 2960-X Series
Strong troubleshooting skills for boot and firmware issues
Ability to guide me remotely or provide step-by-step instructions
Knowledge of ROMMON mode, IOS recovery, and switch diagnostics
I was try IOS images via TFTP, ROMMON mode but not work ، can you fix
Give me this error
POST: PortASIC Port Loopback Tests: Begin
POST: Failed Port PhyLoopback Packet Test asic_index 0 port_hardware_index 4
POST: PortASIC Port Loopback Tests: End, Status Failed
Error: ASIC/PHY POST failed. Cannot continue.

Looks like hardware failure. You need to open a TAC case and try to issue a Return Material Authorization (RMA) to replace the switch.

I tried to contact with him but to me they need the Cisco ID number. I don't have this one. I buy it. This is from shop so he told me I can't help you. If you don't have Cisco ID. Can you please help me for this issues I don't know
