Need help in Module and GBIC/SFP for Cisco3640

My provided is terminating an SC connection for MPLS to connect to a Cisco 3640 Router. What 1Gig module and GBIC/SFP should I use for this purpose? Tried seaching in Cisco but not getting a satisfactory answer.

Any kind is highly appreciated.

No because what kind of GBIC you will use will depend entirely upon the application required.  If it's short range, then you need Short Haul (SH) GBIC like the G5484.  And if it's Long Haul (LH), then you need G5486.

Just check it and found that NM-1GE module is discontinued. Any other inputs ?

And so is your 3640 router.

You can try contacting Cisco Refurbished Equipment and see if they have some still available.

This is your only solution because of the model of your router.
