Hi Guys,
I was running SSH v2 on one C4507R and this week-end I changed the hostname .
Since that time I can not re-enable SSH even if I do whatever I found on Cisco and on the web related to this problem.
Has anybody met with this before?
PS: Have zeroize-d the keys , put back the old hostname , re-generate them...nothing works.
This is what I see when I check the log:
000485: 000035: .Feb 22 13:19:25.062: %SSH-5-ENABLED: STANDBY:SSH 1.99 has been enabled
000486: Feb 22 14:19:31.705: SSH2 0: RSA_sign: private key not found
000487: Feb 22 14:19:31.705: SSH2 0: signature creation failed, status -1
Thanks&Regards,
V

Check the Hostname and the Domain Name, make sure these are configured.
Then...try the below commands again.
cry key zer rsa
cry key gen rsa
