Hi, i have two Cisco SB 300 and one Cisco AP541N Wireless Access Point.
I will be using the two switches in to places with fiber between them. The AP541N will be using as AP for intranet/internet ang guest to internet. To use it for guest i need to use VLan. There is a Sonicwall TZ210 as firewall and i can use one port on that as DMZ if i need to.
1st floor:
1 Cisco SB 300 (8 ports + 2 TP/GBIC) (2 ports + fiber is in use): named: Cisco-01
1 ASUS 24 port switch (NOT management, only standard switch)
1 AP541N
There is 15-20 workplaces that connects with the ASUS 24-port switch, that switch connects to port 1 on Cisco SB 300
The AP541N connects to port 5 on the Cisco SB 300.: named: AP-01
The Cisco SB 300 port 10 (Gbic) connects to the SB 300 on 2nd floor with fiber.
2nd floor:
1 Cisco SB 300 (8 ports + 2 TP/Gbic): named: Cisco-02
2 ASUS 24 port switch (NOT management, only standard switch)
1 Sonicwall TZ 210 firewall: Named: Firewall-01
There is 30 workstations + some servers (yes, DHCP server to), they connects to the ASUS switches
The ASUS switches connects to LAN port on Sonicwall
The Cisco SB 300 port 1 connects to one of the ASUS switches
The Cisco SB 300 port 8 i want to connect to DMZ on Sonicwall if possible
The Cisco SB 300 port 10(Gbic) connect with fiber to the Cisco SB 300 in floor 1
IP info:
192.168.1.0/24
Cisco-01: 192.168.1.20
Cisco-02: 192.168.1.21
Firewall-01: 192.168.1.1 (this is the gatway)
AP-01: 192.168.1.15
DHCP Scoop from server: 192.168.1.100-200
I have made VLan-10 and did managed to get the port-5 on cisco-01 to be in a vlan to port-8 on cisco-02. I can ping the AP-01 from all places on 192.168.1.15, but i cant get the AP-01 to deliver ipadresses from, the DHCP server, but if i connect a DHCP server to port-8 on cisco-02 then that can publish ipadresses to the clients that connects to the standard SSID on the AP-01, but thats not the way i want it to do. I think this could be solved in two ways:
1: get a DHCP server thats on DMZ to deliver ip adresses to the VLAN-10
2: get the Cisco-02 (Cisco SB 300 that connects to the asus switches that connects to the firewall) to intervlan to sonicwall??
Is there some information someplace that i could look at to get this to work?
