Hi Cisco Community,
I’m looking for guidance on designing a stable and scalable network setup for a small business environment with around 20 users. The network will need to support:
Wired and wireless access
VoIP communication
Secure internal file sharing
Potential remote access (VPN) in the future
I’d appreciate suggestions on:
Recommended Cisco router and switch models suitable for small to medium businesses
Best practices for segmenting traffic (e.g., using VLANs)
QoS setup tips to prioritize VoIP traffic effectively
Features or configurations that would help future-proof the setup (e.g., scalability, remote access support, etc.)
Would love to hear your experiences or see example setups that have worked well in similar environments.
Thanks in advance for your insights!
Best regards,
