This is my scenario. I want to add network, wireless and voip device to my upstairs home as an access point.
Have Optus high speed cable modem, CISCO DPQ3925 DOC SIS 2 Ports Voice Gateway downstairs.
DPQ3925 does connect to a swich, which is connected to network points downstairs and upstairs.
Have network points upstairs, but wireless capacity upstairs is poor, as the both floors are separated by a concrete slab.
Which Cisco device/model should i get to connect upstairs, which can do the following :
1. Connect to the network point upstairs, where I can connect 2 desktops,, and access internet via downstairs device
2. Supply wireless connection upstairs for laptop and mobile phone wireless connections
3. Connect one phone for VOIP capability
I wanted to make sure I have no compabatilibility issues, rather than buy a non cisco product.
