Hi all,
We have 2 server(Ramco) in 2 different locations, Primary server replicates the data to secondary server. While replicating the data these servers consumes more bandwidth so we need to restrict the limit to 3 or 4MB. We have two different routers in two locations which are connected through MPLS. So someone kindly address this and help us with the configuration.

Hi
You could use traffic shaping: shape or also you can use police with MQC, Please check this link:
http://packetlife.net/blog/2008/jul/30/policing-versus-shaping/
Please also check the advantages and disavantanges of these procedure, Police could be used for inbound or outbound traffic. Also you could specifiy the destination IP on it.
Regards.

As Julio has already suggested, you can limit the replication traffic using shaping or policing.
However, I would suggest another approach, which is to use QoS to deprioritize your replication traffic relative to your other traffic. This keeps the replication traffic from being adverse to your other traffic, regardless of its bandwidth consumption, and it also permits your replication traffic to take advantage of all available bandwidth, that otherwise might go unused. (NB: i.e. you might place replication traffic in a "scavenger" class.)
