Need to Configure VSS on Cisco 4503E series Switch

I am not able to configure VSS on Cisco 4503E series with WS-X45-SUP8-E sup engine. The "Switch virtual domain" command is not taking, showing unrecognized command...

Are the VSL links connected?

What is error message when you type?

switch virtual domain xx

Actually, when i put " switch virtual ?"   it is  showing unrecognized command. Even in interface port-channel, "switch virtual link " command is not taking, and exec mode "switch convert mode ?" is also showing unrecognized command...

Looks like you need a minimum XOS 3.6.xE for VSS on a Sup-8e.
