I have Netflow configured on a Cat6513 running Hybrid mode.
Please can someone confirm whether Netflow data export works on trunk interfaces?
Many Thanks.

Thanks for the reply.
What I didn't mention is that this is on a SUP2/MSFC2.
The information in the above link is for s SUP32.
Cheers.

Hello James,
see
You can set the bridged-flow statistics reporting per VLAN. The bridged flows are exported through NDE when you enable the bridged-flow statistics.
The bridged-flow statistics are not supported on Supervisor Engine 720 or Supervisor Engine 32.
this is supported on sup2/MSFC2
this can be done in hybrid mode:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/switches/lan/catalyst6500/catos/8.x/configuration/guide/nde.html
in native mode 12.1E
NDE does not support bridged traffic or Internetwork Packet Exchange (IPX) traffic.
â¢NDE does not support IP multicast traffic. You can display NetFlow statistics for IP multicast traffic with the show mls ip multicast command.
see
So only if using Hybrid Mode (CatOS on supervisor and IOS on MSFC) you can get L2 stats exported with netflow but on a per L2 Vlan basis.
Hope to help
Giuseppe

Hello James,
it is not the same thing I agree, you can try from the knowledge of the L2 Vlans permitted and in STP forwarding state to guess the traffic on the trunk port. An help can be given by trunk interface counters.
Hope to help
Giuseppe
