Network dropout and "Syn Flood Attack" error

Hello everyone,

I'm experiencing an issue with my network when attempting to connect a Lanner device to the Cisco Smart Business SG500x. The entire network goes down, and I receive an error message in the logs stating "Syn Flood Attack".

I would like to ask for your assistance in finding a solution to this problem. Currently, the Lanner is configured as transparent with a bridge that only blocks unwanted traffic.

I would greatly appreciate any advice, suggestions, or prior experiences you can share to address this issue. I'm looking to identify the root cause of the error and find an effective solution to prevent the network from dropping when connecting the Lanner to the Cisco Smart Business SG500x.

Thank you in advance for your help!

Hi

As you know what is happening, I mean, you know that you are causing the problem by connecting this "Lanner " to the network, you can disable the SYN Protection on the SG350.

After that, you can try to identify on this device what causes this behavior.
