Network issue

Hello,

I am working as an Intern at The Conference Center Niagara Falls, I got an issue with the network. I got a WC-C3750G-12S as one of the device and the GigaEth1/0/2 , 5, 6 turn amber frequently (like twice in a hour). I guess the problem is with spanning tree.\

can any one suggest me troubleshooting procedure.

Hi,

1) turn on logging ------> logging on

2) enable timestamps for logging ----> service timestamp logging.

3) log to a server or to buffer --->

logging x.x.x.x

logging trap debugging

or logging buffered debugging

logging buffered 20000

4) watch for correlation between the logs and the turning amber of port leds
