Network Switch IE-4000: MRP and H-Sync Forwarding

I’m a user of a Cisco network switch IE-4000 8GT8GP and I had a question regarding the capabilities of this network switch to interface with Siemens Tia Version 17 and MRP using Profinet. I know MRP is possible using this switch with profinet based on the documentation I've read, however one additional requirement that the Siemens technical team mentioned is the switch would also need to be capable of H-Sync forwarding. We are currently using two identical PLCs and are working to update them to TIA V17 to set them up to be fully redundant in the case one PLC were to fail and allowing the backup PLC to seamless takeover and continue running.

The Siemens team mentioned that without the H-Sync forwarding that the syncing never happens in the event of a failover and the syncing attempts essentially time out and never activate the back up PLC.

Can someone provide information as to whether or not the IE 4000 8GT8GP is capable of interfacing using the H-sync forwarding with Siemens TIA Portal V17?

Thanks

 - The Cisco IE 4000 8GT8GP network switch does support Profinet and MRP, which allows for redundancy in industrial networks.
                                                 It can't do  H-Sync forwarding neither ,
