Nexus 2248 Maximum VPC members

Hi,

I have a pair of 2248 Fex's where I'm currently terminating several VPC's to the servers, each with one port per Fex. Is it possible to run a VPC to a server with 4 ports, i.e 2 ports per Fex? I saw some discussions indicating it wasn't possible on a 2148 Fex, but would be on the 2248. Can anyone confirm it works as expected? The ports will just a dot1q trunks

Hi,

Yes you can.  The max is 16 ports with 8 ports per FEX..

The Cisco Nexus 2248, Cisco Nexus 2224, Cisco Nexus 2232 and Cisco Nexus 2248TP-E devices support hardware port channels and up to 16 ports in a host vPC with up to 8 ports from each FEX.

With the Cisco Nexus 2148 device, the host vPC can have up to two ports with one from each Cisco Nexus 2148 and with Nexus 2248 you can support upto 16 ports in a host vPC with up to 8 ports from each FEX
