NEXUS 2K Integration with 5K

Hi All,

I am trying to Integrate a 2k with 5k, This is my first experience with Nexus device deployment normally we would be having uplink ports with respect to Catalyst switches and we would terminate the up link to those ports.

When i integrate the 2k i am aware of the configuration which needs to be done at 5k end, do we need to anything at 2k end. Also i went through the pictorial representation of the 2k and found the UPLINK ports are the right corner.

I have verified  few of the already integrated 2k configuration and not able to view uplink ports.

Hi,

You don't need to do anything on the 2ks.  The config applies the 5ks only.

Also, the 2ks usually come with 4 fiber uplinks.  It should be very easy to find them.

Adding to Sharifi, all the downstream ports in FEX are visible however the upstream ports are not.
