Nexus 5000/7000 - Send Log Command

Hi,

I am after the "send log <LINE>" command that you can use on the Cisco IOS device to test that the syslog is receiving the logs for my Nexus device.

I'm looking for this too, so far the only thing I have been able to figure out is scripting something in python to write directly to a /var/log file.  However, this requires root privileges and I'm uncomfortable setting up our network automation account as such.  :|
