Core10g_1(config)# int po1
Core10g_1(config-if)# no switchport
Error: command not supported on this platform

Am I missing something, because this command is supposed to be supported on the Nexus 5020.

I have searched alot of documentation and nothing points to that the command has been changed in anyway. I am trying to create a L3 interface. Nexus os version  n5000-uk9.5.2.1.N1.9a.

This switch by default is layer-2. If you want to have L-3 capabilities, you need the L-3 daughter card.

Thanks, I looked it up and it seems that the 5010 and 5020 is not capable of routing at all, only the 5500 series works with the module. It never occured to me that the cabilities were not even possible, live and learn thanks.

Correct. The card only works in 5548 and 5596. The card has been EOL since 2016.

Good Luck!
