Nexus 5500 SPAN - preserve tagging

Hello,

I have a Nexus 5548 (5.1(3)N2(1a)) that I am configuring a SPAN Session on to capture traffic on a trunked port-channel interface.  I am successfully seeing all packets, however I was also expecting to see the dot1q tagging - but am not.  I seem to recall on the catalyst 6500 platform, there was a command to preserve/send the complete tagged Ethernet frame to a SPAN destination - is the same available on the Nexus 5K platform?

Thanks in advance.

Cheers,

Jeremy

Hello Jeremy,

Nexus 5500 SPAN - preserve tagging
Yes , it is available , it is enabled on global basis and you can use the command "show vlan dot1q tag native".

Also you can refer the link below.
