- And even if that info would be wrong , it is not advisable to do that, it is more advisable to separate switching services from dhcp services.

i had the impression that nx-os can do a lot more now than 3 years ago!
for example, it is obvious that a lot of L3 features have been incorporated into the nx-os, this is why i asked if it possible to develop a DHCP server.
