I've got two questions and I'm sorry if they seem like stupid questions!

First, do I have to to buy SFPs/QSFPs etc transceivers etc in order to connect the cables to the ports on the I/O modules? Can't I just connect cables directly to the switch?

Secondly,  The M3 modules support 2 million IPv4 unicast routes and the F3 modules support 64k unicast routes. How does this work exactly if both are installed in the same chassis? Like, for example, what's the size of the IPv4 routing table going to be?

Hi
the modules you purchase are copper then you can connect direct ,if fiber you will require sfps to slot into the interfaces first before cable connects , qsp is a 40gb and up sfp

you would usually have M or F not both
