Hello,
I'm running a couple of nexus 7000 to aggregate a building full of 3750Xs.
In the past few weeks I have noticed that the vlans I added to the port-profile never got propagated.
So I looked at port-profile sync information and here is what comes up:
port-channel1
port-profile: access-switches
interface status: offline
sync status: out of sync
cached commands:
switchport trunk allowed vlan add 219
switchport trunk allowed vlan add 218
no shutdown
errors:
interface commands cached
recovery steps:
bring interface online
Does anyone have any ideas why the commands are getting cached? The TAC ticket I have opened is now 2 weeks old and they're not in any rush to help me it seems. (My sales guy has already been informed).
It's worth to mention that we have recently upgrade to 5.1(5).
Thanks!

Hello Rafael,
Have you tried deleting and creating the profile again? If this is urgent try doing manual config as a workaround.Let me know how this goes.
Thanks,
Ricky Micky

Having the same issue. What command did you use to get the sync status? When I run:
show port-profile sync-status
I get nothing. Also, were you ever presented a fix from TAC other than deleting the portprofile and recreating it? Deleting the port-profile is not a fix, especially if its currently used on a production network.

I ended up going on vacation and left my co-worker deal with it!
In all seriousness. TAC said to delete it and re-create it. That's what we did.
Booked an outage and created the whole thing again from scratch.
They couldn't even tell us why it happened either...
Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.
Good Luck
