Anyone now how to setup a snmp v3 user? Trying to use Solarwinds products and never can authenticate. Tried several ways. Would be great is someone uses Nexus and Solarwinds out there.
Thanks

What version of NEX-OS do you have?

I looked at the Nexus config guide for SNMPv3 and looks just like IOS. Check the link below, usually there is a mis-config in NCM.

Hope it helps.

Thanks for the link but NX0S doesn't have that view command. I'm going to try solarwinds support and see if they have anyting.

Take a look the SNMP privacy(encryption) settings. They have to be enabled globally.
I believe that by default, it's Auth only, not AuthPriv.
But also be careful, because NXOS creates a AAA user when you create an SNMPv3 user.
