Nexus 9000 VPC design

Hi Guys,

I have a pair of Nexus 9332PQ that I would like to setup as a VPC. I have planned to use 2 40G ports for the VPC Link and I am wondering what would be the best thing to do regarding the VPC Keep Alive link. Any advise would be much appreciated !

Cheers,

Laurent

Hello,

Keep alive link is very important; however, it does not carry much information. Cisco suggests using two dedicated 1G links configured as an etherchannel.

Please take look at the link below page 26. It is for nexus 7000, but applicaple for nexus 9000 in terms of keep alive link.

Hope it helps,

Masoud
