Hello,
we have single Nexus 9508 switch with couple of blades. How do ensure that upgrade to software/firmware do not cause disruption? is there validated steps to perform upgrade online?

Hi,
Usually an upgrade requires a reboot and so however much time it takes for the switch to reboot is your down time.
