Nexus ETHPORT-5-IF_DOWN_LINK_FAILURE: Interface Ethernet is down

Hello,

I have a Nexus 9K trunked to a C9200L

On the Nexus 9K the port is:

interface Ethernet1/19
switchport
switchport mode trunk
switchport trunk native vlan 888
switchport trunk allowed vlan 1,254,995
no shutdown

On the C9200L the port is:

interface TenGigabitEthernet1/1/4
description **Trunk to SRL-9K**
switchport trunk native vlan 888
switchport trunk allowed vlan 1,254,995
switchport mode trunk

Randomly on the Nexus 9K I'm getting these errors below:

NEXUS9K-CORE-01 %ETHPORT-5-IF_UP: Interface Ethernet1/19 is up in mode trunk
NEXUS9K-CORE-01 %ETHPORT-5-IF_DOWN_LINK_FAILURE: Interface Ethernet1/19 is down (Link failure)
NEXUS9K-CORE-01 %ETHPORT-5-SPEED: Interface Ethernet1/19, operational speed changed to 10 Gbps
NEXUS9K-CORE-01 %ETHPORT-5-IF_DUPLEX: Interface Ethernet1/19, operational duplex mode changed to Full
NEXUS9K-CORE-01 %ETHPORT-5-IF_RX_FLOW_CONTROL: Interface Ethernet1/19, operational Receive Flow Control state changed to off
NEXUS9K-CORE-01 %ETHPORT-5-IF_TX_FLOW_CONTROL: Interface Ethernet1/19, operational Transmit Flow Control state changed to off
NEXUS9K-CORE-01 %ETHPORT-5-IF_UP: Interface Ethernet1/19 is up in mode trunk

On the C9200L I'm getting these errors in the log:

The transceiver I'm using is:

type is SFP-H10GB-AOC5M
name is CISCO-AVAGO

Any ideas what the issue may be?

Hi

 It seems some negociation was started by 9200 and Nexus does not like.

IF_RX_FLOW_CONTROL: Interface Ethernet1/19, operational Receive Flow Control state changed to off

Do the following test, put both interface in 100M.

speed 100 in both side

upgrade of software solved it.

Did you upgrade software on Nexus 9K side? If so, which version you're using? I am having the same issue. Thank you
