I have a pair of Nexus9000 C92160YC-X running 7.0(3)I7(2) and I want to break out one of the
40Gbps interfaces to have four 10 Gig. But I'm seeing this error. Is the issue perhaps becaure Eth 1/53 and 1/54 are actually 100Gbps? Or is there something else going on?
CORE02(config-if)# int eth 1/53
CORE02(config-if)# interface breakout module 1 port 53 map 10g-4x

Hi,
The uplink ports can only be 40 or 100.
from the hardware installation guide:
• 6 100-Gigabit QSFP28 uplink ports supporting 40- or 100-Gigabit speeds as follows: (40-Gigabits for
all six ports or up to 100-Gigabits for ports 49 to 52)

Thank you. And in that doc I see the problem: "Ports 50 and 52 also provide 4x10- or 4x25-Gigabit Ethernet breakout support." So I will need to do some swapping around.
