No Pop-up Menu - Packet Tracer - version 7.3.1.0362

Just installed Packet Tracer - version 7.3.1.0362

Using "Packet Tracer-Deploying and Cabling Devices"

Installed without errors -

Able to complete through page 2 - but ran into issue connecting PCs to Switches-

At Instruction "Now print at the center of PCO and click on it. You will see a pop-up menu appear showing the cable connection types" top of page 3 - 
There is NO POP-UP MENU when clicking at PCO as described above!

I can see what this pop-up menus looks like in the tutorial, but the pop up menu doesn't appear in my Packet Tracer. Did I forget to change a setting in Packet Tracer that allows me to see the Pop-up menus? Am I on the wrong view? Any suggestions? - thanks!

just the default settings should be enough to see the pop-up. After you have selected the cable, does the mouse icon change into something that looks like a short. bent Ethernet cable ?

Thank you for your help with this. I can't figure out how to do a screen shot that shows what the cable looks like (when there should be a pop-up window). Attached is a drawing that I did - Is this helpful?

Second attachment is what the pop-up menu should look like - which I am not seeing.
