Hello could you guide me if there is any cisco certification for NOC Engineer ( Network Operations Center) in ISP, currently I am working as a CSR in a small isp. I passed my ccna certification with 865 marks in 2019 (it was very difficult) Now I am looking forward to become a NOC Engineer well not NOC Eng but at least assistant NOC Engineer so in this regard I want to know which Certification program study could help to achieve my goal
a bit about me: I am not very intelligent and my networking concepts are very poor and loose. I am just struggling to become network engineer at my current job we resolve internet issue of customer but often I forget what ever I am told (well thats an other story ) anyways our Senior Network Engineer is not very friendly so he not teach us much ( I know I should learn it on my own but as I said I am not very intelligent and just kinda average or near average guy)
I do the following things at my job register complaint , resolve internet complaint remotely if possible, reconfigure device settings (which I had learn from my colleagues even they they are not CCNA certified) last thing I do is allow vlan in huawei OLT using the commands provided but often times a scenario comes up where its maximum port reach full in that we look for a down ont and delete but before that we have to delete the service port (this service port **bleep** is very confusing) and than delete the ONT
btw HUAWEI Commands are horrible they are hard to remember and plus I hate this thing called OLT which we have to access to allow the mac of newly installed ONT at customer premises btw I also do not understand the concept and use of VLAN at ISPs. In terms of switch and and computers it is so simple vlan is used to group or ungroup computers based on their department or need regardless of their location in the office a d building but here in isp the vlan is i dont know whats going on
and than there is another **bleep** called winbox all I know about winbox is that we can end a running session of custoemr from it and see the bandwidth usage thats it and ther is not even any iso for winbox that one try to check it in virtualbox to see how it works)
Kindly let me know if I must/need to change the field because I do not want to waste my time any further , I have some call center job opportunities available to me right now
Thankyou
my English not good because it is not my native language so you have to guess the punctuation yourself ok
Please give your insights
thanks again
