None License Switch

Hi, I'm currently looking for a cisco switch that doesn't need a license? can someone be kind enough to label some models for me thanks. The Switches will be used for hosting game servers non profit

If you just need layer-2 functionality with 1Gig copper interface, than you can purchase a Cisco 3560 24 or 48 port with IP Base license. Here is more info:

For the 3548, you don't need any license but remember this switch is end of life and end end of support and very old.  Also, they are 10/100 and not Gig ports.

If you are looking for used switches on ebay, you are better off with Cisco 3750G switch.

oh 1 more question i bought a 2X CISCO CATALYST WS-C3548-XL-EN do i need a license for this? or is this just standard ip license
