NSF/SSO Implementation

Hello all,

Currently our system is using RPR+ instead of SSO.   After doing some research I can't find any info for my concerns.  What I  would like to know is whether or not changing from RPR+ to SSO on a  production switch will have any impact on it's performance, or can I  just change the redundancy mode without any worries?

Thanks.

The only impact should be that the standby supervisor is reset.

Still with these sort of things if you can get an outage i would.

So does having the standby supervisor reset have any real affect on the switch's activity, considering everything goes according to plan?  Are there any reprocussions that I should be considering?

resetting the stand-by switch does not effect the primary Sup.  So, production should not be effected, but as Jon also noted, it is a good idea to do it in an outage window.
