hi,
can someone give me a link or on how to configure ntp clock <period>. do we calculate for it or is it there a default?
Router(config)#ntp clock ?
<0-4294967295> Clock period in 2^-32 seconds

There is no need co configure the NTP clock period. It is not recommended to set the clock period as the defaults will work just fine. Please see the following links.
