Hey!
So I have a few switches of Nexus9000 C93108TC-FX Chassis having the version of 7.0(3)I7(3).
I don't know where to look, I tried everything and they are set up exactly the same.
But for some reason only one of them we can set:
ntp server 0.site.pool.ntp.med.one use-vrf management.
but on all the others I'm unable to do so and they only accept:
ntp server 0.mo.pool.ntp use-vrf management.
I really don't know why one can accept the ntp with the domain and the other can't even tho they are exactly the same.
Is there a place to check? something to do?

I still don't quite understand it, but after running:
no ntp server 0.site.pool.ntp.med.one use-vrf management.
and then
ntp server 0.site.pool.ntp.med.one use-vrf management.
again it worked.

Hello!
What is the response you get from the Nexus when you input it?

Nothing actually,
I run show ntp peers after it, and than I see if it worked or not.
It should output something?

Hello @Rem Markov,
Do you please share output "on the others" to see what is the error message ?
#sh ntp peer-status (share also the output)
Thanks.

Debug ntp packet
For work and nonwork SW

both of them work, just differently and I don't understand why.
There is no command of "debug ntp packet"

I think you didn't quite understand me.
I have a ntp pool in my on prem enviromnet.
I have 5 switchs of the same type and of the same version.
4 of them will configure ntp only when run like that:
ntp server 0.mo.pool.ntp use-vrf management
The other one will only be configured when ran like this:
ntp server 0.site.pool.ntp.med.one use-vrf management.
There is no error and no output . it either configures it or not.
Like if I do the:
ntp server 0.site.pool.ntp.med.one use-vrf management.
on one of the 4 , it just does nothing, no error , no nothing.
all of the 5 switches are configured the same.

And I want to add,
3 switches works with:
ntp server 0.site.pool.ntp use-vrf management.
2 switch works with:
ntp server 0.site.pool.ntp.med.one use-vrf management

I still don't quite understand it, but after running:
no ntp server 0.site.pool.ntp.med.one use-vrf management.

ntp server 0.site.pool.ntp.med.one use-vrf management.
again it worked.

Hello,
I was just thinking that maybe you had some sort of cli alias or cli variable configured (show cli alias/show cli var). But it looks like you got the problem resolved...
