nx-os vcp peer and vlan int

alright so I am falling on to this network and I have never messed with a NX-OS switch the are VCP peered, now my question is do es one switch only need the int vlan or both switches need to have the int vlan of all the vlans, this is weird to me for example int vlan 10 on sw1 is 1.1.1.1 and then int vlan 10 on sw2 is 1.1.1.2. I think it is weird to have this for all the vlans besides the management vlan or is this how your are supposed to do it?

we do have vpc on the switches so I guess that could be the reason we have redundant vlan int?

correct, but to provide redundancy for all your vlans, you need to configure an instance of HSRP or VRRP per vlan on both switches.

Hello,

for the VPC peers only the mgmt0 interfaces need to have IP addresses.

Can you share the example you are looking at ? Redundant VLAN interfaces might be used for something else in the configuration you are referring to...

vcp peer on both switches are up.

SW1 VLAN INT                                      SW2 VLAN INT

VLAN 5 1.1.1.254                                   VLAN 5 1.1.1.253

VLAN 10 1.1.10.254                                VLAN 10 1.1.10.253

VLAN 15 1.1.8.254                                  VLAN 15 1.1.8.253
